Maserati Takes Center Stage at Inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma 2026

Maserati participated as Official Partner in the first edition of Anantara Concorso Roma, an international event celebrating Italian hospitality and automotive culture. Held at Casina Valadier in Villa Borghese from 16 to 19 April 2026, the event featured 70 rare and prestigious Italian cars. Maserati displayed a selection of its iconic models, including vintage gems like the Tipo 26B (1927), A6GCS-53 Berlinetta Pininfarina (1954), and a private customer's 3500 GT Convertible Vignale prototype (1959), alongside modern supercars such as the GT2 Stradale and MCPURA.

The 3500 GT Convertible Vignale prototype won its class and the award for best interior design. Designed by Giovanni Michelotti and presented at the 1959 Turin Motor Show, only six units were built. The car underwent a meticulous restoration between 2023 and 2026 with support from Maserati Classiche, receiving the 100th Certificate of Authenticity under the program launched in 2021. Another highlight was the Tipo 26B, a more powerful evolution of the Tipo 26, produced in only eight units between 1927 and 1930. It featured innovative use of elektron magnesium alloy and a 1980-cc inline-eight engine delivering 155 CV.

Completing Maserati's presence were the MCPURA and GT2 Stradale supercars. The MCPURA showcased a carbon-fibre monocoque, 630-CV V6 Nettuno engine, and a power-to-weight ratio of 2.33 kg/CV. The GT2 Stradale, road-legal version of the GT2 racer, produces 640 CV, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and reaches a top speed over 320 km/h. The event also celebrated the centenary of the Trident logo, which first appeared on a Maserati in 1926.
