What Happened
Peugeot is celebrating 100 years since its first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1926, two Peugeot 174S cars entered the race. Since then, the brand has taken part 44 times as a works team or engine supplier, winning three times: in 1992, 1993, and 2009. This year, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies aims to build on recent progress at Imola and Spa-Francorchamps to compete at the front of the 18-car Hypercar field.
To mark the centenary, Peugeot is hosting fan activities throughout race week, including a display of the new Peugeot E-208 GTi, the Peugeot 9X8 and Polygon concept, and a Hypersquare steering wheel test. A grand parade on Saturday 13 June will bring together 20 historic Peugeot competition and production vehicles.
