Workhorse Partners with InCharge Energy to Offer One-Stop Support for Electric Fleets

What Happened

Workhorse Group Inc., an OEM of all-electric trucks, step vans, shuttles, and buses, announced a partnership with InCharge Energy, a provider of EV charging and energy solutions for commercial fleets. The program, launching later this year under the Workhorse brand, will give customers access to live support specialists trained on both Workhorse vehicles and the broader EV ecosystem, providing a single accountable entity for resolving issues across vehicle, charging, and software platforms.

When a customer calls, the specialist assesses the issue and routes the ticket to a Workhorse field technician, an authorized dealer, or a third-party provider depending on whether the problem is vehicle-related, involves aftermarket components, or involves charging or telematics hardware. In every case, the customer makes one call, the right expert is engaged, and Workhorse keeps track of field issues.

Major fleet operators expect not only a great truck, but OEM-grade customer service. This partnership is a direct response to that expectation. We’re putting it in place now so we can scale it in concert with our growth, ensuring our customers never feel a gap.
Scott Griffith, CEO of Workhorse

Why this matters

As commercial fleets go electric, quick diagnosis and repair across trucks and charging hardware become essential to keep vehicles on the road and avoid costly downtime.
